Meet the Team

Felicia Brown

Hi!  My name is Felicia Brown.  I am a case manager and therapist for Kidlink.  I have been with Kidlink for two years and prior to coming here, I worked as a Trauma Specialist in schools for Tennessee Voices for Children.  I have a husband of 27 years, two children and four grandchildren that keep me busy!  In my spare time I enjoy going to church and spending time with my two dogs.

I find inspiration in my favorite quote, “If God is for us, who can be against us.” Romans 8:31.  I love helping the children we serve and assisting children as they navigate their way to permanency whether it be reunification or adoption.

I am a graduate of The University of Phoenix with a B.A. in Art of Psychology and a Masters in the Science of Psychology and a proud member of the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network.

Vickie Green

My name is Vickie Green.  I have been with Kidlink for 5 years where I serve as a Case Manager and Therapist.  I have my Master of Education and I have over 18 years in the social services field.  My favorite thing about working for Kidlink is working with the children and families, helping them meet their needs and working towards permanency.  If I had to describe myself in three words, I would choose committed, hardworking and determined.

In my spare time I enjoy shopping, spending time with friends and family and doing jigsaw puzzles.  If I were to write a book about myself I would title it “Simple, But Awesome.”  I approach everything I do with the mantra, “Always be respectful, honest and never give up.”

Brook Hughlett

Hi!  I’m Brook Hughlett. I have 4 years of continued experience in the Social Work field. I am a case manager in West Tennessee for Kidlink Community Services, where I complete face-to-face visits and other case management services for children in foster care. Prior to this, I spent 3 years working for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services as a Family Service Worker and a Placement Specialist. I attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Social Work in 2017.

I am currently attending the University of Memphis to pursue my Master’s in Social Work. When I am not working, I runs her own small business providing beauty services. I am  very family-oriented, so any spare time I have is mostly spent with my children. I am inspired by the power to push through situations, especially when faced with adversity.

My favorite quote is “You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.” I am easily motivated by my son and knowing I have others looking up to me. I try my best to keep striving but also know I am human, so every day will not be perfect. I do not let my yesterday determine my today. I strive to instill this into my foster care babies because it teaches endurance and perseverance.

Wendolyn Miller

Hi!  My name is Wendolyn Miller.  I am the Regional Director of Foster Care.  Currently I supervise the therapists, case manager and recruiters with our agency.  I review referrals for placements, present potential placements to foster parents and assist with trainings and the opening of foster homes.

I have been working in the children’s service field since 2003.  I have spent time at DCS as a case manager in foster care, juvenile justice and placement services.  I have been with Natchez Trace over 12 years and have serviced in several roles including therapist and Director of Admissions.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Lane College and my Master’s in Human Services with a concentration in counseling from Capella University.

I am a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated where I enjoy providing service within my community and I am a worship leader at my church. In my spare time I enjoy walking, listening to music, and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

My motivation for what I do stems around my children.  Because I became a mother at a young age, my children challenged me and made sure that I always followed through on goals, dreams and promises. I believe that children are not their environment or their situation and with love, nurturing and wisdom we can change the world.

Kacye Watson

Hi!  My name is Kacye Watson and I am a Recruitment Specialist at Kidlink!  I work to identify, train and support foster families for all of the children we serve. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and over 20 years of experience working with at-risk youth including Juvenile Justice, Foster Care and Adoption.  I am passionate about hearing the unheard and helping children find their path to permanency and supportive care.

In my spare time I enjoy thrifting, playing with my dogs and spending time with my husband and four children.  I am an avid sports fan and enjoy watching most any sport but especially volleyball, football and baseball. I love travelling the world and in the summer I can be found lounging by the pool and swimming with my favorite Goldendoodle, Kingston.

I love my work at Kidlink.  Family is very important to me and I get to be a small part of creating and strengthening families every single day.
