    Amy Sherwin brings her extensive background in education to her role as a Case Manager Supervisor for KidLink Community Services in Middle Tennessee. Having received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo, Amy dedicated 15 years to teaching and special education before joining KidLink. Currently, she is furthering her skills by pursuing a Master of Social Work from Walden University. A mother of two and a lover of music, travel, and dance, Amy maintains her lifelong passion for working with children in her position at KidLink.

    Brook Smith is a Case Manager Supervisor with KidLink Community Services in West Tennessee. She possesses six years of cumulative experience in the social work field. Brook graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University in 2017. In May 2023, she earned her Master’s in Social Work from University of Memphis and is currently working towards obtaining her licensure. Brook’s strength and resilience are fueled by the motto, “you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have,” and she hopes to impart these values to children in foster care.

    Chanel Crutchfield is a Therapist in West Tennessee for KidLink Community Services. Chanel has worked with children and families for well over 15 years in various capacities in the areas of mental health and education. Her vision is to ensure that all children feel loved, valued, and safe in every aspect of their lives and families are educated, strengthen and building healthy connections and relationships.

    Chanel earned her Bachelor of Art Degree in Psychology from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, a Master of Education with a concentration in Special Education from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, and an Endorsement in School Counseling from the University of Tennessee at Martin in Martin, Tennessee.

    Chanel is an honored mother of three children, licensed minister, teacher, and an inspirational speaker. Chanel’s life mission is to “help people release, heal, hope, love, and live.” She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporate.

    My name is Ebony Holland. I serve as a Recruiter for KidLink Community Services in West Tennessee. I’m from Covington, TN. I graduated from MTSU with a B.S. in Liberal Studies. I am currently working towards obtaining my Master’s in Management and Human Resources. My background is very versatile but my concentration is Social Services. I knew early on that I was destined to work with children and adolescents. I have been working with children for several years in various capacities. Some of my hobbies include reading and taking trips. Music is my therapy. I love spending time with my family and my eight year old son. Inspired by the mantra, “My life has meaning. What I do has meaning. My actions are meaningful and inspiring.” I will continue to inspire one person at a time.

    Hi! My name is Kacye Watson and I get the pleasure of being the team leader for our Recruitment Staff. I work closely with my team to ensure that we are identifying, training and supporting awesome foster parents for the youth we serve. In addition, I ensure that Kidlink has a positive, active presence online to include our website and social media. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and over 25 years of experience working with at-risk youth including Juvenile Justice, Foster Care and Adoption. I am passionate about hearing the unheard and helping children find their path to permanency and supportive care.
    In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, our four adult children and our three grandsons. . I am active in a local dog rescue and have a house full of rescued doodles! I am an avid sports fan and enjoy watching most any sport but especially volleyball, football and baseball.
    I love my work at Kidlink. Family is very important to me and I get to be a small part of creating and strengthening families every single day.

Since graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in 2011, she has worked as a Case Manager, Recruitment Specialist, and Permanency Specialist, dedicated to helping new foster parents and supporting families in their journey towards forever homes. In her free time, Mary Beth delights in cooking and baking for her husband and two sons.

    Sheila is a mother to 4 children, a goldendoodle, and a malti-poo. Her family likes to spend time together at the beach or traveling. In her spare time, Sheila enjoys woodworking and Zumba.

    Travis Hanberry is a U.S. Army veteran, husband and father of five, known for his dedication to serving others. He received the Purple Heart for his bravery in Iraq in 2011 before pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social work from The University of Tennessee at Martin. Travis spent three years as a school social worker in Perry County, Tennessee, and is currently completing his master’s in social work. He recently joined Kidlink to continue his mission of supporting children and families.

    Wendolyn Miller is the Director of Foster Care at KidLink Community Services, overseeing therapists, case managers, and recruiters. She has been in the children’s service field since 2003, holding positions at DCS and Natchez Trace. Wendolyn is an alumnus of Lane College and holds a Master’s in Human Services from Capella University. A mother from a young age, her motivation lies in her belief that children have the capacity to transcend their circumstances and effect positive change in the world.
